Rich and surprisingly non-greasy,
Much like the other reviewer, I bought this because I wanted a super moisturizing facial lotion that wouldn’t exacerbate my already problematic breakout-prone skin or irritate it with the usual cocktail of harsh chemicals….and at 9 bucks the price was right! All of the ingredients seem to be of high quality and if you go to the website, the company seems to take a lot of pride in ensuring a high quality, eco-friendly and socially responsible product (they donate some of the proceeds from this line to the cancer foundation). Anyway, I’ve been using this as a night and a morning moisturizer regularly for at least a month or two and I find that it tends to absorb pretty well regardless of when or how much I put on. I haven’t noticed any additional breakouts other than what is already being caused by my retin-a treatment, and this lotion is actually quite soothing after dealing with the dryness and itchiness caused by the medication. Also, I find that when I put it on before bed, my skin tends to be less oily when I wake up in the morning than if I go to bed without it, in which case my skin tends to feel like an oil slick. I would recommend this product and am looking forward to trying the entire line once I have completed the retin-a treatment.

I bought this in Target because I was looking for a moisturizer that was “hopefully thick and rich”. This caught my eye because the ingredients were ALL NATURAL
and includes wonderful stuff like aloe vera and shea butter. I try to avoid using chemicals, and this fits the bill.
It was also 3$ cheaper than my neutrogena lotion I was using. 10$ for this (at target) while the other wa 13$
The only issue is that, it literally is thick and rich. Which is wonderful for night, but not good for morning because it will make you too greasy. Plus, theres no sunscreen-which isnt good for daytime anyways.
Its only my 2nd day of using it, and I love it. Ill update if anything changes (like if my acne-prone but on accutane at the moment) skin still breaks out)
