This is an amazing product. It is gentle on the skin, and I have very sensitive skin, yet removes the tired, dead, and darkening follicles. I can’t believe how much lighter and younger my skin looks after a peel. It smells nice and doesn’t cause any itching or burning, on my skin at least. This is a must to use before big days like weddings or fabulous dates, or when getting back from a grubby camping trip. One thing, a day after the peel my skin looks a little red/blotchy in places but the day after that it’s stunning so if you are indeed purchasing this for a wedding, etc. use it 2 days before the big day or else you might look like a splotchy bride.

Most of Philosophy’s products are fabulous and if you’re going to go for this, it works well with the Real Purity facial cleanser to use right after the peel, and then the Hope in a Jar moisturizer after that.

I love this product. You have to use it right though or you will not be satisfied. When I started the lady at the counter advised me to do the ‘Boot Camp’ This is where you use the peel for three days in a row (stated by another reviewer) After I did this it really brightened up my skin and I could really tell a difference.

This peel can be used by all skin types and it a very gentle peel. You have to make sure that you don’t get the solution on your eyebrows though. If it’s left on too long (like over an hour) it will start to dye your eye brows. But if you use for the recommended time (less than 5 min) you shouldn’t have a problem.

This peel is great to detoxify your skin. And if you use it right it really exfoliates. You have to use the ‘scrapper’ that comes with the product. Do not simply wash the peel off. You have to scrape it off. When you do this it removes all of the dead skin. After you have scrapped as much as possible wash your face very well. I find that Purity by philosophy works great.

I use this peel about twice a month. I rotate between this and philosophy’s MicroDelivery Peel, using one every week. If you are skeptical about buying this I would go to a Department store and ask the lady at the philosophy counter to do it on you. I first had it done at Nordstrom loved it. That way you can see the proper way to use it and you can see if you like it or not.

I think this product is more trouble than what it’s worth. I’m a low-maintenance person so having to go through and bust open a capsule, mix it with a measured amount of warm water, smearing that goo all over my face, then trying to apply this thick white cream on top of the goo..? It just didn’t work that well. The white cream just did not go on easily with the goo on my face. The two things are supposed to react, so after a few weeks, the jar with the white cream seemed to have been ruined because I would have to dip my fingers or whatever back into the jar to get more. After the treatments I just felt like my face had been chemically treated. I didn’t notice it doing anything special. I would not buy this product again, nor would I reccomend it to my friends. However every other philosophy product I’ve used has been great. This one is just not for me.
